explores the exact point where human sensitivity collides with digital architecture. In this piece, the face—interrupted by glitch streaks and light scans—does not fragment: it transforms. Distortion does not conceal emotion; it amplifies it. The error becomes language.

The gaze acts as the narrative core. One eye remains sharp while the rest of the frame slips into impossible velocities. This visual tension symbolizes our contemporary duality: we are flesh and code, biological memory and algorithmic processing. The “emotion engine” is not an external machine; it is the hybrid system that now inhabits us.

The neon palette—magenta, cyan, and electric greens—creates an atmosphere that oscillates between the intimate and the synthetic. Side lighting enhances the volume of the face while horizontal lines suggest data transmission, interference, speed. Time feels compressed into a single frame, as if identity were loading in real time.

In Emotion Engine, the glitch does not represent failure, but transition. Each visual displacement speaks of adaptation, constant updating, and the vulnerability of exposing oneself within digital environments. The work poses a silent question: when we optimize everything, what happens to what we feel?

This piece is part of my ongoing visual research into expanded identity and 3D glitch aesthetics, where I aim to transform technological friction into visual poetry. Because in a world of intelligent systems, emotion remains the most unpredictable algorithm.
