This series evokes a reflection on the intersection between the human and the technological, where the boundaries between the organic and the artificial are blurred. The forms seem to emanate from a dance between the abstract and the concrete, as if humanity were in a process of transformation towards something new and indecipherable. The “contact” suggested by the title is not only between people or ideas, but between times, realities and dimensions. It is a dialogue between matter and energy, between the known and the unknown.
Title: “Contact”
Technical analysis: The series, deeply influenced by constructivism and futurism, presents a visual language that harks back to the work of Zaha Hadid, especially in the use of organic geometries and spatial fluidity. The sharp, fragmented lines recall the work of contemporary digital artists, such as Refik Anadol, who play with the deconstruction of reality and its reconstruction through algorithms. Through the use of layers, transparencies and superimpositions, there is a clear reference to postmodern aesthetics, where the boundaries between art and technology are blurred. The use of a limited colour palette, with a predominance of whites, blacks and metallic tones, suggests an industrial purity that contrasts with flashes of red or green, evoking tension and dynamism.
The human figures, minimalist and almost reduced to silhouettes, remind us of Giacometti’s sculptures, where the human figure is reinterpreted as something fragile and almost ethereal in the face of the immensity of the structures that surround it. In this series, the individual faces the technological colossus, highlighting a kind of insignificance or vulnerability in the midst of these enormous and complex constructions.
