…The word paradise and the word technology may be opposite words. It seems to me that paradise cannot be mechanical, it cannot be robotic. I believe deep down…

Deep down, the paradise of a soul of resembling the soul itself; and the soul of man is not a technocracy. It seems to me that this technological future that we are creating is going to be very big for us.

What’s it gonna be? What will it consist of? In people who will live longer than we live now, like in a middle age…. In some people in fullness, if you can say in fullness…possibly they will be quite prefabricated people, who will have to work more than us because they will have to feed older people, fewer children and those who do not work, which will be many. With a type of behavior managed either by orders or by brochures because they will not have much time to read, brochures to see how to be successful, brochures on how to make friends, how to build a house, how to conquer a woman, how to can have more fun, everyone will read the same pamphlets, relationships will be very easy but very boring and on the other hand natural intelligence will be replaced by artificial intelligence that will help people, probably not to achieve happiness but to help them pass the time. Intimacy will almost not exist, privacy will be what exists and they will also be wanting to break it. This is not something that personally attracts me.

I believe that man, by trying to aspire to superhumanity, is letting humanity get out of hand. It seems extraordinarily serious to me that man wants to visit other stars, that he knows the sex of his children and that prenatal diseases are cured, that there are neither winters nor summers and that all the fruits of the entire year are eaten throughout the year. year, that we reach the speed almost of light, and absolutely deadly weapons.

All of this seems tremendous to me, because if it is not contained… it can end very badly… it has every possibility of ending extremely very badly.
