Visual big bang | session 2025

The title “Visual Big Bang” immediately evokes the cosmological theory of the Big Bang, the event that gave rise to the universe. Translating this idea to the field of digital art suggests an explosion of creativity, a genesis of new visual forms and concepts. In the context of current digital art, this work is part of a tradition of experimentation with computer-generated imagery, which dates back to the beginnings of computer graphics in the 1960s.

Historically, digital art has evolved from early vector images and computer graphics to the complex simulations and 3D renders we see today. “Visual Big Bang” seems to revisit this evolution, using advanced modeling and rendering techniques to create a visually striking image. The work aligns with the current trend in digital art to explore the aesthetics of the abstract and the complex, seeking to generate an aesthetic experience that appeals to intuition and emotion.

Philosophically, the work raises questions about the nature of creation in the digital age. Is the artist merely a programmer of algorithms, or are they still a creator who imprints their vision on the work?
