New World Disorder

The first work, with its biomorphic form reminiscent of a sea creature or an alien being, evokes the aesthetic of Surrealism from the school of Salvador Dalí and the influence of bio-morphism in modern sculpture, a style that seeks organic forms and that we can see in artists such as Henry Moore or the organic design of Zaha Hadid. The contrast between the smooth, reflective surfaces, suggesting advanced technology, and the chaotic and vibrant elements of the color palette, speaks to the coexistence of algorithmic perfection and the unpredictability of life. It is a universe where order and chaos, the natural and the artificial, coexist in a precarious and fascinating balance.

The second work, for its part, immerses us in an even more abstract dimension. The central form resembles a spaceship or a fragment of futuristic technology, but it is enveloped in a dance of abstract patterns and psychedelic colors reminiscent of Op Art by Victor Vasarely and Street Art of the 1980s, with references to the work of artists like Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat in their graffiti. The shiny surfaces and vibrant color palette reflect the influence of Pop Art, while the binary codes, diagrams, and digital textures glimpsed in the background connect us with cyberpunk aesthetics and digital post-modernism. In this work, the artist seems to ask what happens when technology becomes so omnipresent that it begins to mutate our own reality, creating a new kind of disorder, a digital “new world disorder”.

Both images, as a whole, are a visual manifesto of contemporary aesthetics, where the influences of traditional art merge with technology to create something completely new and stimulating. The artist not only uses the digital tool to create, but turns it into the subject of his own work, exploring the tensions and harmonies that arise from the interaction between the human and the artificial.
