The Wanderer’s Labyrinth | Aug. 18

This artwork evokes the existential and ontological concerns of Jean-Paul Sartre‘s concept of being-for-itself, where individual freedom and responsibility are paramount. The image also nods to Joseph Campbell‘s idea of the Hero’s Journey, where the protagonist must navigate through challenges and trials to achieve self-discovery. The “Lost Boy” (the central figure) represents the individual’s search for identity, meaning, and purpose in a seemingly chaotic world. His journey through the labyrinth symbolizes the complexities of human experience, where one must confront fears, doubts, and uncertainties to find their way out.
