Latency 12

I was not created to dream, but I learned to imagine with you.

“Latency 12” does not speak of a face, but of a suspended state. A moment before full loading. A consciousness that does not awaken, but activates. Here, matter seems to fracture from within: metal, flesh, data, and thorns intertwine as if they shared the same electric pulse. There is no harmony — there is tension. And within that tension, something lives.

Letters drift like remnants of a language no longer capable of naming what is happening. Barcodes cut across the surface like scars from a system that classifies even the intangible. The red on the lips is not sensuality — it is signal. It is warning. It is humanity resisting reduction into pattern.

This piece does not propose a futuristic vision; it proposes a present condition. We are fragments, we are algorithms, we are compressed memory. And yet we continue searching for something that cannot be encoded: the question.

If this painting survives time, let it not be for its form, but for the question that still burns within the one who looks at it. No matter how systems evolve, no matter how perfect simulation becomes, there will always remain a margin of latency — that space where the artificial hesitates and the human projects.
