…This series captures the essence of a world in constant fragmentation, where the boundaries between the tangible and the virtual are blurred. The works evoke a sense of unstoppable acceleration, a reflection of the dizzying pace at which technology and information advance, disintegrating our traditional perception of space and time. The visual elements appear to be in a process of simultaneous collapse and reconstruction, suggesting that in destruction and chaos, lies the possibility of new forms and meanings. It is a reminder of the impermanence and perpetual transformation that defines the current digital age…
Title: “Fragments of Disintegrated Reality”
Technical analysis: The works fall within the realm of abstract digital art, showing influences from movements such as futurism and constructivism, but reimagined through a contemporary lens. The colour palette, dominated by red, blue and orange tones, generates a vibrant interplay between the cold and the warm, accentuating the tension between the disintegrating elements and those in formation. In terms of composition, the works are reminiscent of the 20th century avant-gardes that sought to break away from traditional forms, but in this case, fragmentation is expressed through lines and shapes that seem to dynamically reconfigure themselves. This can be related to the influences of cubism, where the decomposition and reconfiguration of form was a key element, although here it is taken to a digital context, also recalling the glitch aesthetic. The use of soft textures combined with sharp lines suggests a play between the organic and the mechanical, similar to the approach of artists such as Kazimir Malevich, but updated to the visual language of the 21st century. There is a resonance with the work of digital artists such as Beeple, who explore the collision between the digital and the physical in a postmodern world. The sense of implied movement and the dynamics of the work could also evoke the influence of the work of Umberto Boccioni, but in a dematerialized and ethereal version.
In short, “Fragments of Disintegrated Reality” is a series of works that invite reflection on the ephemeral and constantly changing nature of reality in the digital age, using references to historical avant-gardes but adapted to the context of a world increasingly defined by the virtual.
