Ascension / Session April 2025

In “Fractured Ascension,” chaos becomes a vessel for transcendence. These digital forms do not merely occupy space—they rupture it, tearing through the void with purpose. The spiked geometries and high-gloss surfaces evoke a paradox: the aggressive sharpness of destruction coexisting with the elegance of deliberate creation. One cannot help but interpret these pieces as a meditation on the duality of progress—every evolution requiring the fracturing of the old self.

Like armor torn open to reveal metamorphosis, these compositions reflect a world in flux, where order is always temporary and disruption is necessary for the sublime to emerge. They are not merely abstract—they are declarations, visual manifestos that speak to the resilience of structure amidst existential entropy. The reflective surfaces invite the viewer inward, forcing confrontation with their own fragmented identity, hinting that perhaps, like these structures, we are all beautifully broken.

This series of artworks combines parametric abstraction with high-fidelity digital rendering, showcasing a mastery of 3D modeling and textural interplay. The artist, Marco Antonio R.P., applies techniques reminiscent of Futurism and Deconstructivism, channeling influences from Kazimir Malevich’s Suprematist geometry and the aggressive spatial dynamics of Frank Gehry‘s architecture.

Slick black and crimson hues dominate the palette, with exaggerated specular reflections that simulate automotive-grade polish. The forms explode from central nodes, frozen mid-motion in high-resolution digital shatter. The composition blends Wildstyle graffiti ethos—in its unreadable, layered aggression—with a ZBrush-like sculptural sensibility.

Subtle environmental occlusion and light gradients frame the violence of form, grounding the chaos in a believable spatial context. The dramatic contrast between light and dark, gloss and matte, emphasizes tension—an intentional design echoing Baroque drama, albeit translated into a post-industrial visual language.
